This view is on 385 between the towns of Crane and McCamey. I love the West Texas landscape. The people out here are the nicest and the most down to earth folks you will ever meet. I traveled this stretch of highway a lot when we were living in Odessa. To me, this is the Texas of legend. Change comes real slow, and in some areas not at all. You really do feel the old west out here. This is Gods country and one must travel here with knowledge and respect for the desert, or literally you could die.
