This is all that remains of Murdochs ( the building in the distance) after Hurricane Ike. Notice the granite monument and how it has been shifted by the force of the sea. This is right in front of where Hooters used to be. These photos were taken yesterday October 3rd 2008.

My latest tiki painting. This acrylic on canvas piece is 12 x 30 inches and full of color and texture. I call him, "tiki blue eyes".
My thinking here was to create a modern version of the madonna icon. I painted a contemporary young girl with a halo design in the sky around her. The painting is from 2003 quite large, around 30 x 40 inches and is now in a private collection.

Leisurely walking through the flowers on a tropical island. This acrylic painting on canvas is from 2005 and it is 21 x 33 inches.
A small 11 x 11 inch painting on canvas with heavy texture. I enjoy the small square format of this piece, so I think I will do some more.
