The beach at Galveston. This photo was taken on April 14 at 9:58 am. It was early on a Monday morning so we had the entire ocean to ourselves. In my mind, this is the best time to hang out.

Wahine and a Cool Cat

A new painting fresh off of the easel. This is 16 x 24 inches on stretched canvas. As you can tell, I am really into the whole Hawaiian fantasy theme right now. In fact I have another hula dancer in the works, and plan to show some progressive photos of the work in progress.

I know that this one looks very simple. I had originally planned to do it in color, but I stopped here at this stage. It was done.....the simple fresh quality is what makes this painting cool. It has a strong abstract feel. I would just ruin it if I went any further.
